Considering Sedation?
Nitrous oxide therapy, also known as "laughing gas," is a mild sedative used frequently in dentistry. It is very safe and has been used as sedation in dentistry for over 100 years. We offer different flavors of smells for your child to enjoy. The gas lowers the threshold of pain, minimizes dental anxiety, and helps our patients relax throughout the treatment. Nitrous oxide is non-addictive and leaves the body in a matter of minutes after the treatment.
Making Your Child Comfortable
To make it a great experience we treat your child in a way that is most comfortable for you and for them. We always allow a parent to be in the room with their child during the treatment. Our doctor will determine the level of sedation that is appropriate for your child's specific needs. As always, at the end of their visit, your child will get to choose a toy from our amazing toy wall!
